LIP FILLER
Lip filler is a type of cosmetic injectable that adds volume to the lips, to enhance the size, shape, and volume. It can also smooth out wrinkles around the mouth. The dermal filler used is made from hyaluronic acid which is a natural substance found in the body. Hyaluronic acid helps to maintain skin hydration and volume. It is widely used in cosmetic procedures due to its biocompatibility, which means it is generally well-tolerated by the body.
Lip filler does not have to create an over-filled look. It can be done to produce a lovely natural subtle difference. We make sure we have a thorough consultation and talk through your desired results before starting your treatment.
Recommended number of treatments for optimal results:
It usually takes 4 weeks for the filler to settle and for full results to be seen. One treatment is enough; however, this depends on your desired result. Further filler can be administered no sooner than 4 weeks after the initial treatment. No more than 1ml will be administered at a time.
How long do results last for?
Lip filler is not permanent and individual results vary. The length of time that the filler lasts depends on how quickly your body breaks the product down. Generally, lip filler can last between 6 – 18 months.
Have you got thin or asymmetrical lips? Do they lack volume or are you looking to change their shape?
